Well, ouch!

This was played tonight during Monday Night Football:

i don’t know…maybe post the story, not in someone’s hot-take tweet, and we can discuss it

as of now, this just seems like your typical manufactured outrage over something for which you lack complete understanding

If Trump wins, there is a 0% chance of election interference.

If Trump loses, there is 100% chance of election interference.

The drum on this has been beating for about a decade.

Even a primary source that describes what specifically was proposed would help.

For example, a camera monitored by law enforcement and subject to FOIA requests is one thing.

A camera linked with facial recognition software that is monitored by a political body and shielded from public review is quite another.

Even though they are both cameras.

Nope, not what happened at all. As per usual with you and JK.

Democrats sued last month to prevent a number of last minute rule changes from being enacted this late in the process. The Fulton County Board agreed that the changes were unconstitutional and ruled that they be set aside. Republicans countered by asking the GA Supreme Court to hear the case in an expedited manner but the GA Supreme Court just ruled that they will not hear the expedited case this close to the election.

Just a reminder that Republicans on this site had HUGE PROBLEMS with last minute rule changes to the point where some of you insisted that it invalidated the results of the election. So why are you OK with it now?!?

https://www.law.com/dailyreportonline/2 ... 1029124506

"In the latest battle over Georgia’s election laws and procedures, the Georgia Supreme Court declined to expedite a Republican appeal aimed at reinstating seven last-minute rules passed by Georgia’s State Election Board ahead of the Nov. 5 general election.

If enacted, the rules would have made it easier for local election officials to delay certifying election results, required hand-counting of all ballots on election day, expanded mandatory poll-watching areas and mandated video surveillance of ballot drop boxes, among other changes. Voting rights groups and election officials alike opposed the rules, arguing that last-minute changes could sow confusion and doubt into the elections process, and that implementing the changes would violate Georgia’s election laws."
