Just five TDs and a FG away. I say trade up.
Haha. They need to disband

Rainbows I'm sorry you have nothing better to do than to go digging stuff up on a message board.

We're more than happy to take Sneed back for a 7th round pick.

We can't afford his salary now.

Which "good" team do people think are the biggest pretenders?

For me, it's the Broncos. They are 5-3 but their 5 wins are against the Bucs (4-4), the Jets (2-6), the Raiders (2-6), the Saints (2-6) and the Panthers (1-7). Their next 3 games are @Baltimore, @Chiefs and vs. Atlanta so we'll see if they are for real soon enough.

I really want Bo Nix to not be good but so far he looks like they nailed their draft pick.
Their defense is a top 5 unit.

The Saints, Panthers and Bucs are 1, 2 and 3 as the worst yards per game allowed by NFL defenses. The only good defense Nix has faced was the Jets and he went 12-25 for 60 yards against them. Only 1 player had more than 3 yards of receiving in the game. Fortunately for Denver, they play one of the cushiest schedules of any NFL team this year so they might actually eek into the playoffs despite their offense.

While i'm sure the first 3 are correlated to his stats, the Jets game was in god awful weather - I watched it - no one could move the ball.

Re: Sneed. He’s obviously super good, but curious, did he get beat 1-1 quite a bit while here? There’s been a couple he just got schooled on.

Also, curious if he had ‘aggression’ issues. Mostly meaning he does dumb shit ‘in the heat of the moment’. My watching him is a small sample size to form a good opinion, and now, he’s out right now anyway.

Sneed was actually very good in 1 on 1 coverage.
Spags puts his guys on islands a lot - I'm both surprised ( because I thought he was super solid during 1 on 1's ) and not ( our defensive pressure really forces QBs into poor throws ) that he's struggling in Tennessee.

Take PFF for what it is worth ( I think it's useful but it is subjective ) but Sneed scored very well in 22 and 23 on the Chiefs for corners - in the mid/upper 70s - 80 is a fantastic score.

This season so far he's sub 40.
( of note, one of my draft day darlings, Cooper DeJean, is currently 2nd in PFF for corners - though he's only played 4 games so the sample size is smaller ).

Diontae traded for a 5th/6th swap to the Ravens.
Man, I think i'd have preferred something like that over what we did with Hopkins.

I assume there’s something toxic we’re not aware of - because there are lots of WR-needy teams, and I have to imagine that the Panthers didn’t just accept this offer in a vacuum.

Lots of WRs going down. Made me think the other night, could we see a Super Bowl where the WR1 matchup was Sky Moore and Malik Heath?
