Re: Finding New Shit on TV
thanks…will watch
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Too grotesque for partner and me. (mostly partner).
Originally Imzcount (Why do politicians think “hope” is a plan ?)
“Avoid the foolish notion of hope. Hope is the surrender of authority to your fate and trusting it to the whims of the wind”.

We didn't make it past the 1st episode. It's on DVR, I may go back to it.

Rented Long Legs - the atmosphere is great, has some tense moments and a decent ( not great ) twist.
Planning on renting Oddity this weekend.
Wanted to rent Alien Romulus but that shit is 24.99 - to rent - GTFO.

Lost is on Netflix so I am going back and watching it. Interesting to watch it a 2nd time knowing what happened but having it be so long ago that you don't remember it well.
Re: Finding New Shit on TV
We did that a few years ago. I’d seen the series and Mrs. Fish hadn’t. The number of plot line dead bodies is staggering. So much of that show just…did not matter at all!
Re: Finding New Shit on TV
Spoiler alert maybe.
I watched parts of the first couple seasons when it was airing. I guessed early on that everyone had died on that plane and this was just a part of the afterlife. I never finished the show.
This was correct right? From what I’ve heard it was pretty close.

It's mostly just nostalgia from earlier days when my wife and I used to actually watch shows together. I wish I could find 24 stream somewhere, that was probably the first one we watched together back in the days when you had to stick a tape in the VCR to record things.

TCM has Noir Ally on Saturday nights. I usually DVR it. Caught a good one a couple of weeks ago. Too Late for Tears, 1949.
Cool intro and outro explains the film was considered lost and how they brought it back
