Recruiting sucks. Especially recruiting guys out of high school. In the past few seasons we have had as many commits bail, as have come. It's because come spring time, when the portal opens, we will have to go recruit over them by bringing in talented upperclassmen more ready to contribute.

It's just a different process now. More guys should go to smaller schools and develop for a year while getting playing time if immediate playing time is important.

Even Bidunga, who is a McDs AA, will have a hard time averaging more than 15min a game this season.

Darryn Peterson, the top-ranked guard in the class of 2025, is all set to decide between Kansas, Kansas State, Ohio State and USC this Friday...
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

It would be nice to be mentioned along side some better programs.

Ohio State and USC probably have similar NIL backing as us.

No clue about KState but Tang is a draw for some of these players. He's hot right now. They're not necessarily getting the big name guys yet, but they are getting into living rooms (or however it's done nowadays).

This is a big deal. I don't follow high school recruiting as much as I used to. But this would be a big get for the program. We seem to be in good position to land him. And the timing makes sense, with dajuan finally leaving after his 11th season at Kansas

Don't hold your breath. Maybe they'll move to contracts, no roster size limit, and no cap on years of eligibility.

LOL

Starting 5 of
DH
Tyrel
Brady
Jamari
Lightfoot

I'm in. Great body language out of that bunch. All 5 guys can play above the rim.

Tang brought the little sister along too. Smart move. Will it pay off?

Why on earth is eligibility even a thing anymore? These are paid pros, play here until KU no longer offers the best contract.

combo guard, supposed to be equally as effective on or off the ball, 6'5" with 6'10" wingspan

apparently his 3 point shot is still a work in progress tho...that alone makes me think we have a chance.
