Also, something which might be assumed at this point, we're not getting our value out of 1st round pick Felix Uzomah.

Or any value, it seems.

This is part of what makes me feel fairly indifferent about using our 1s in pick swaps - the pool of available guys just isn't qualitatively better than in the middle of the 2nd, and the contracts are meaningfully more expensive.

If I recall, I wanted Brian Branch at that spot.

I heard the FAU is doing well with the inside rush and this is complementary

He has done better this season than last and I think he actually bothered Minshew a bit this last weekend.
I don't agree with Fish's 'any' value - he's 3rd on the team in QB hits ( 5 ) and tackles for loss ( 3 ).
But that's not a lot and it's a direct result of getting to play with Chris Jones.

I'd still prefer Brian Branch on our team currently considering our issues in the secondary ( can play corner or safety ). FAU isn't changing games and it's possible he looses snaps to Uche ( despite Uche being listed at LB ).

Not a Chief but did you guys see the bother of a Chief lose his shit at PSU this morning?
Not a good look even if the kid/s was wrong.

Jason shouldn't have done that. But there has also been a profound loss of civility in public places/matters, and Jason's response was at least understandable.

Us normies don't LIKE the luxury-box-ification of absolutely everything, but it's also perfectly understandable that highly recognizable figures aren't as willing to mix in with the rest of us as they used to be.

If I were a judge and the courts worked as they should, Jason would have to buy that kid a new phone. No apology. Nothing else.

And by new phone the same phone that kid had—just a replacement.

AND, on top of that, in order to get the phone, I’d force the kid to write an apology to Kelce.

Story gets better?

Wife isn't putting out. Add sexual frustration as a contributing factor?

From the comments:

Something 1 day ago

Anyone from Detroit can tell you how bad Kelly has tried to be in the spotlight ever since Matthew Stafford entered the NFL. She has been one of the most out spoken, fame chasing football wives in decades. Always commenting to the press, posting her opinions and doing podcasts that nobody listens to. She is so jealous of the attention Taylor's getting that she can't breathe. Know your roll and you know what to do!

I'm not going to defend her. She absolutely craves attention. Now me being the guy who overthinks way too many things....I'm wondering what if any role her recovery has to do with it.
I have two close friends who had brain tumors and coincidently, they both are people who crave attention. To their credit - they are very grateful to be alive and live every day as if it is a gift. As I feel they should.

Back to the Chiefs.....

A few days ago I had X Worth on my fantasy roster. I dropped him. I'm starting Hopkins. All but guarantees X Worth will have a stellar game - and Hopkins won't. The guy I replaced X with (Sutton) will probably have a sub par game too.

Not sure if this is a replay or not, but "the breakdown with Peyton and Belichick" is on and it's all about Mahomes. Really cool to watch them breakdown the KC offense.

Saw a rumor that the Chiefs were trading a 2025 3rd rounder to New Orleans for cornerback Marshon Lattimore. We'll see. Seems a bit steep but we'll see.

We have 2 3rds next season.
I might be OK with giving up the pick ( he's a good corner ) but i'm seeing his contract as 2 more guaranteed years of 16 mill a season?
Are we really prepared to invest in that?

Seems kinda steep for a guy who has been dinged up the last few years. Who knows. New Orleans just fired their head coach earlier today so they might be running a fire sale.
