I would hope you would go in and either write in or not fill in anything as more of a statement that you would like to participate in your government but it's not doing a good job representing you.

I'll be voting for Harris b/c I agree with several her policies/thoughts on next steps on her website:

We should have a far far better selection of choices for each and every Presidential election.
This one sucked hard.
I appreciate your post. I hope for your sake (and probably mine) she wins.
I will indeed vote on Tuesday. There are plenty of people and things I want to vote for - and against.

I voted for Harris.

I ran away from the GOP the minute Trump became the candidate in 2016.
I don’t see anything in the GOP as it currently exists for me.

I just don’t have enough hate.

Gas is $2.35 here. Food prices are impacted by Russian aggression still, but under control. If Trump were to win, the tarriffs and loss of workers will cause a real shock and a lot of hunger.

Have you looked at any independent or third party candidates
Yes.

After reading a few posts on here, I'm left wondering about the future a lot more than I am wondering about today. I wish The Economist could tell me about the next 18 months. I have had some pretty smart people tell me we may be in for a bumpy ride. Regardless of who is elected President. Why would they tell me that? Maybe I should be asking Ben Stein?

That is easy for me.

Harris brings the known, in a positive way.
Investment in America, through the continuation of several Biden policies…at least are proven to have had a positive impact on the US economy. The CHIPS act, infrastructure investment, and others HELP America.

The isolationist policies of Trump certainly will have immediate negative effects on our economy.

Musk coming out to prepare us for that should be a MASSIVE warning. If he said it, at this point, it will be 10 times worse…minimum.

America First policies are riddled with problems, and the first taste of Trump initiating them brought about a shockwave of negative impact.

Paying farmers billions NOT to farm, interrupting the supply of a viable, low cost workforce…. Buddying up to the Saudis….

The list goes on and on. If anyone needs a singular issue to slam the lid on a Trump economic policy…look no further that gutting our virology and infectious disease research just before the WORST infectious disease breakout in the history of our country.

Do you really want this man child to be the person holding the safety of our country in his hands. When he has proven himself wholly incapable of trust when it matters most?
Inflation and higher taxes?

The middle class was thriving under trump. And it is disappearing under harris. Is harris has solutions, why did we get so many problems from her last 4 years in office?

You don't get to just pretend like the last year of Donald Trump's administration didn't exist.

Every President has shit to deal with. Trump got handed shit (covid) andade it worse than it should have been. Biden and Harris got handed shit (Trump's post-covid economy) and made it better than it should have been.

If Harris was so powerful as VP, and has to shoulder the blame, then maybe Mike Pence should get the “glory” for the made up Trump success?

Gee, another example of randy not comprehending his ignorance.

Huh? Do you mean thriving under Pence? Or disappearing under Biden?
I might cut you some slack for the "Is" vs. If but I'm not feeling generous this morning.
I'm curious, if you blame Harris for today's economy do you credit Biden for the economic recovery under Obama? How much blame do you lay on Dick Cheney for 2008?

Let me help you, the middle class was not "thriving under Trump" and isn't "disappearing under Harris".
Sure, I might give you that the middle class was doing better under Trump for a part of his Presidency than it's done under Biden for a part of his Presidency. And? Look what Trump was handed and look what Biden was handed.

I would love for you to please go to Church today and report back to us what you took from being there.
I would be very interested to read about your perspective.

* EDIT*
P.S. I didn't read the previous two posts until after I wrote mine. Seems I'm not alone with my thoughts and sentiment.

Pretty sure it was $1.88 when Trump was POTUS. I’ll take that, please.

Just curious Psych, was that during the pandemic that Trump so thoroughly mishandled? When, in April of 2020 as the world was shutting down and for the first time in history, the price of oil was below zero, i.e., negative, and traders were actually paying people to accept their oil? Well, Hallelujah!

Today in: But how'd you like the play, Mrs. Lincoln?

Maybe you and Trump will get lucky, again, and there will be another pandemic soon that shuts down world trade and the price of a gallon of gasoline will go back down to where it will make you happy, while Trump's negligence and stupidity cause yet another ~ 600,000 excess American deaths?

His last few rallies gave just sounded like he is sick of this. Tired of giving the same speech, tired of traveling. He sounds worn out. At 78, it's not surprising.

Sure, just go release another deadly virus with no cure or vaccine, let a million people die, and drive down demand and you'll have it.

Personally, I'd rather pay more. Thanks, though.

Yup, cuz there’s no other way to make gas affordable than releasing a man- made virus in order to crate a Plansemic to cripple an economy and bring down a President who was finally doing something good.
