Among the many lunacies, the thing about tariffs that gets me the most is that the PRO argument assumes completely irrational behavior on the part of American producers.

Let's say Sparko and Fish both sell, say, $2,000 couches, and that Sparko makes his in China and Fish makes his in the USA.

If Trump imposes a 20% tariff on Chinese couches, then Sparko is going to tell JD Vance that the price for the (eminently fuckable) couches is $2,400 each.

Is Fish really going to keep charging Vance $2,000 for (eminently fuckable) couches, since Fish's costs didn't go up?

Of course not! Fish can raise his (eminently fuckable) couch price to $2,300 or $2,350, and still win Vance's (eminently fuckable) fucking-couch business on price!

That's terrific of course, for Fish, but not for Vance! To say nothing of the poor, fucked couches.

So voting machines are down and experiencing issues in counties in Michigan and Pennsylvania. In swing states on election day. What are the odds?

Bomb scares called in to polling places in Fulton County, i.e., Atlanta, Georgia to suppress the Black, i.e., Democratic vote.

What are the odds?

A lot of black voters feel abandoned by the democrats. And replaced by illegal immigrants who get benefits that black people never did. Far more are voting against the democrats than any previous election

But let's let it be known, I have a problem with any kind of violence or tampering at the polls today. By anyone, republican Democrat or otherwise

Help me out. Seriously. If people in counties in Michigan and Pennsylvania can't vote, how does that help/hurt either candidate?
Yes, I understand that a big factor is the counties where those people are not able to vote.
So my point being, you're saying "counties" in those state and not where the "counties" are in those states is kind of a big deal.

I got something for ya - and others.
At my polling place people were trying to register to vote - so they could vote today - which is allowed in Chicago. They were unable to register due to a "glitch". So..... Who does that help and who does that hurt?
