I think I learned more from this post-game interview, than any in forever:
Carolina game

I agree. It was consistent.Back2Lawrence wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 9:55 am i for sure like refs to let it go more, but the game last night was consistently called tight.
Re: Carolina game
The game was called tight which was a blessing in disguise. They called a legitimate moving screen that helped turn the game.

I learned that his math ain't mathin. He said Phog Allen woulda won 2000 games in 39 years if they played the number of games they play today. Max # of games today 40. x 39. 1560. Do better Bill Self. Do better.

lol, I didn't take it as far mentally as you, but that struck me as a rather generous estimate, at the time.Back2Lawrence wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 5:04 amI learned that his math ain't mathin. Self is one of the best interviews in the sport. He also does a good job of trying to also pay a player a compliment if he finds him criticizing him. He rarely just criticizes someone. And he does a good job of describing complicated concepts of the sport in a way that can be understood as he speaks. Some coaches get so in the weeds with details and terms that you have to go back and watch it 3 times to figure out what they are saying.
