“Now that the election is over I think we can finally say that yeah actually Project 2025 is the agenda,” wrote conservative commentator Matt Walsh on Wednesday morning, adding “Lol” for good measure.
Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who was recently released from prison, responded on his live War Room podcast with one word: “Fabulous.”
Later during the livestream, Bannon could be seen holding a hard copy of the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 “Mandate For Leadership” up to the camera in celebration. On election night, Bannon had vowed to eliminate Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, MSNBC, and the Justice Department in an unhinged rant.
“Now, you’re going to pay the price,” he said Tuesday night…

I have a buddy whi is very vocally pro Trump.
He married a Ugandan woman and has been trying to get her over here for over a year now.
He is slowly realizing that with the new regime that is going to be infinitely more difficult.....but, follows that up with, its ok, they'll let her in, were doing it legally, and they know I voted for Trump so he will let her in no problem.
What? Somehow the voter rolls will solve all now. They are going to hate her less because he voted the right way?

Re: 'merica's "Second Revolution", Project 2025
i’ve heard a number of interviews with trump supporters that have immigrant friends, neighbors, or workers (both legal and otherwise)
they generally love the immigrants they know, and like having them in the community
when asked why they’re voting for trump, it seems they’ve convinced themselves that trump is all talk, and really isn’t going to deport hardly anyone
there are hispanic americans with undocumented family members that have also convinced themselves that trump won’t come for their parents or grandparents
seems like an awful big roll of the dice

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: 'merica's "Second Revolution", Project 2025
fair point, that's possible.....and a not so great thought. But I still dont think it will roll to his advantage thruway he anticipates in this particular instance.Overlander wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 2:44 pmI imagine that voter rolls will end up coming into play more than anyone ever thought possible.TDub wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 2:37 pm I have a buddy whi is very vocally pro Trump.

I think that people have in their head this image of ICE agents rolling up an apartment complex in Aurora, or a K9-Kitty-Kookout in Springfield, and frog-marching murderers and rapists to the border by the hundreds.KUTradition wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 2:46 pm i’ve heard a number of interviews with trump supporters that have immigrant friends, neighbors, or workers (both legal and otherwise)

When in reality, if the MAGAs actually follow through on their promises, we'll notice because restaurants close, some of our kids' friends disappear, and everything starts to cost more, take longer and be shittier.
All on our tax dime, to boot.
Re: 'merica's "Second Revolution", Project 2025
This will be good for us. By "us" I mean everyone but me. We will become more self sufficient. Side gigs at the restaurants will teach us to be better cooks and more efficient dishwashers. In the side gig at Lowe's we will learn more about home improvements and be able to do that work ourselves, roofing is still gonna be a bitch though. Imagine the pride when we butcher our first hog. This is gonna be awesome for us.jfish26 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 4:11 pmI think that people have in their head this image of ICE agents rolling up an apartment complex in Aurora, or a K9-Kitty-Kookout in Springfield, and frog-marching murderers and rapists to the border by the hundreds.KUTradition wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 2:46 pm i’ve heard a number of interviews with trump supporters that have immigrant friends, neighbors, or workers (both legal and otherwise)

I'm genuinely curious who exactly these people think will clean their houses, offices and hotels!

The internet reaches every nook and cranny of this country. Someone knows everything you say and do in public. For the private parts, I rely on the army of Guatemalan farmworkers. They see everything else.
You should get that red spot on your right earlobe looked at, I don't like the shape of that thing.

As soon as I find a doc...I haven't seen a doctor in years, I've been waiting on that concept of a healthcare plan to come out for at least 2 weeks now

this wasn't anything fancy, just a guy that cuts his own meat, he's outfitted his shop with the basics to be able to process his own stuff. Typically just game animals, but he's started doing livestock here and there just for his own animals to keep his freezer full.
