Lost to ASU by 4.
Here is the crazy thing. KU didn't play the bottom 4 teams in the Big 12.
Had KU played 2 of those 4 instead of KSU and TCU, decent chance KU would be leading the conference right now.
1. Would have rather beaten KState as first of 3. Then this would have but us above .500.

2. To gutters comments…the schedule didn’t really matter this year. We have the talent. But we choked off the first half of real competition. In EVERY single game. We led in second half and dumb play calling, poor execution, bad luck, or some combination of the 3 happened.

We have been our own worst matchup this year. We outclass everyone in the league. I wish the record showed that. But you know. Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda or something.

It's just as good the second time.

Neal breaking that ~ 40 yard TD run on our first drive.

Perfect!

One of the weirdest seasons I can remember from a team I watch closely. We’ve seen promising seasons turn into dust. Not sure I’ve seen that dust more or less reform into what we thought it would be.

We showed up to every game with the better team. This Colorado game was perfect. They played well.
We were just the better football team. They have two players that are going to be drafted in top 5 of the NFL draft. Not sure we have anyone who will be drafted in the first two days. Maybe. But it didn't matter and we won easily. The truth is if the coaches would have gotten out of the way we win all the games. Such a waste.

It took all year for the OC to figure out that our running game would win every game. All of them. We didn't have Hishaw yesterday and still we ran the ball 55 times versus 21 pass plays. The Illinois game we average over 5 yards per carry and pass the ball more than run. Stupid OC.

MF Grimes cost us a great season.

JD played really well yesterday. He was actually throwing the ball away when it wasn't there. The biggest play of the game was the defensive stop on 4th and 2. Huge, went down and scored and took at 17-0 lead.

Sorry I missed out on the fun of this board yesterday. I had to watch the game on my phone from the ER with an IV stuck in my arm.

Best game by the defense. Best game by the O-line. Best game by Neal. Rock chalk!

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Yeah that not going to happen. Unfortunately. Dark days ahead.

There is some talk of JD coming back. This of course would make things interesting at least.
We doomed because we losing everyone.

Yeah, KU played 8 of the top 9 and only 1 of the bottom 6. No one else in the league played close to that tough of a schedule.

What do you mean "some talk of JD coming back"? Where else would he be going? He is 100% coming back. Sorry, but he has no NFL future.

Glad to read you're ok!

Anyone else see the crap Sapp was spewing before the game on the podcast?
I hope he didn't choke on a crow bone.

After sporting that haircut, I don't think there's anything else more embarrassing for him to deal with. He looks like a larger version of that Bettlejuice guy who used to be on Howard Stern from time to time.

That hit was the best thing on the Internets yesterday. Watched close to 100 times. Does not get old.
