I dunno, man. Chiefs can't keep giving material guaranteed money to olds. That's the sort of thing that the Bradiots were pretty good at avoiding.

It's not a hard no - but I don't think it can be "market" either.

It's DeAndre Hopkins.
Have you watched him on the Chiefs?
Say 2 years, 22 million, 12 guaranteed.

If he'll take that, sure I guess we're getting in range. Although even at that figure he'd be in the top ten on the roster by cap hit. That's a big commitment, even relatively speaking, on a roster that is committed to Kelce's number and should have Rice and Worthy.

(I fully understand that we have no idea what Rice's availability will even be - but devoting top-ten cap money to another receiver is dangerous business.)

Rice should be healthy come the start of the season and i'm sticking with a 4 game suspension.
I don't know what happens with Hollywood but I guess he's gone.

You don't sign Hopkins at market value - but he knows that in order to stay with the Chiefs, he can't ask for that.

Crazy that we may never see Hollywood suit up a game.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
