The Wagner Seahawks
Ok.....who the fuck are the Wagner Seahawks
Exactly!
The team KU is (was?) scheduled to play Saturday August 30th 2025.

It’s a team you normally expect to face in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

The wife and jobs stuff, I really don’t get why we’d go there. It feels icky.

Joking in good fun is one thing, but that’s not what this was (seemingly). Carry on, though. But fuck.
It’s pretty standard for a couple of folks. One is a decent guy with occasional lapses; the other is beyond help. I banter with the former and have had the latter on IGNORE for months now. It’s all good.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I'm not a smart guy. Can/will you or someone else please explain to me how (and why) JK responds to Jeeper's post if he has him on ignore.

With JD 4-8

Without 2-10

Dark Days
We have no clue what the roster is going to look like next season. I expect KU will be hitting the transfer portal hard as they have a lot of opportunities available for starting reps next season. I hard enough to predict how a basketball team will fill 2-3 open spots. KU has 30+ seniors.

It would be great to have a solid OC to attract transfers. And a solid DC. And a finished stadium.

I refuse to get comfortable with losing.
Says the guy on his second wife and works 3 jobs.
I'm going to say it.
I don't understand your need to be an asshole in those regards.
You are right.

In Big 12 play (nine games), the conference leaders in offensive yards per play:

1. Kansas — 6.7
2. Baylor — 6.5
3. TCU — 6.4 (6.36)
4. UCF — 6.4 (6.35)
5. Kansas State — 6.3 (6.32)
6. Arizona State — 6.3 (6.31)

KU needs to fire their DC ASAP

What a thread.

I love this team. I won't take a shi* on them after what I saw in the last four games.

Short memories and delusional thinking gets us this.

They are a Top 3 roster in the conference that finished 5-7. Their DC hasn't done enough to warrant him continuing to be their DC.

I don't follow football recruiting rankings so I don't know how KU is doing on their incoming class. What I see on Twitter seems to give the appearance that they are doing decently but Twitter is a very limited, biased feed. Hopefully they are able to keep the momentum of their recent success, positive press, big wins and overall level of excitement and replenish their roster.

Any DCs out there that might bring a few good recruits along with them? KU has an excellent AD and no doubt he has his ears open and some behind the scenes feelers out there. A good AD is always doing this even when they are happy with the performance of their staff.

That isn't a slap in the face to the amazing achievements of the last 2 seasons. KU football has finally mattered and been able to compete. I just want it to not be a brief flicker of fun before settling back down into the sub-D1 level KU was at a few seasons ago.
