How the heck are you going to give SMU and BSU byes (top 4 teams get byes) when they are ranked 8 and 10?

I think it seems extra messed up because its the first year. Gutter is right a lot does not make sense.
The problem going to be some of the match ups do not make sense cause of the you won the conference things. I saw one projection where basically Texas and Georgia end up playing a third time. I really would like to see games against teams that do not normally run into each other.
