It is fascinating to me how much like a family system these boreds are. It's almost as if it (the system) needs a villain for everyone to be mad at. When one is banned or goes dormant, another one materializes or is identified as the new target. Very much like the addictive family systems theory, where someone is always identified as the scapegoat. Murray Bowen would be pleased.

you could have ignored me years ago, just like so many have suggested.

But you stubbornly refuse!

Instead, you will not (or just cannot?) leave me alone, in some overly-attached girlfriend kinda way.
You post so much that ignoring you is a challenge. You do so because you're desperate for attention.

If we collectively ignored you then you'd just post more controversial stuff to entice a response. This cycle isn't new.

for real illy, you come across as obsessed. If you really think I "post so much," that's even more reason to ignore me, not to make excuses why you can't.

I usually enjoy the discussions around here, but I honestly don't think I'm desperate for attention. Rather, I think you're desperate to give me attention. That's why you refuse to just leave me alone.

You're the one who asks me a question then whines when I answer, or prompts a response then whines when I respond.

Again, you could just leave me alone!

But you will not.

Or you simply cannot.

cuz, perhaps more than any other poster on the board, you're the most overly-attached girlfriend of them all!

convenient way to absolve those of villainous behavior
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
