F-35s have been kind of troubled for years now before Elon opened his mouth.
I think his thing is wanting more drones instead.
But Elon, a master wordsmith, does concede, "Fighter jets do have the advantage of helping Air Force officers get laid."
Sounds like Elon's been binging Top Gun. I'd bet all my Dogecoin that he pauses it at the volleyball scene.

one of my best friend's brothers is an Air Force pilot. I dunno if it's F35, but one of the later model fighter jets...maybe F22?
He's stationed in I think Maryland, will fly to do dogfight training over Lake Michigan all morning, be back by that afternoon.
That's just like, a normal weekday for him.
oh, one other fun fact: his wingman's call sign is, "1985Hawk."
No wonder Air Force pilots get laid!
