The greatest single thing he could do to bring down prices is to not pass tax cuts. The tax cutting is the Santa factor the GOP will kill the country with. We were about at zero debt under Clinton. I think the macro most important thing about this is the contempt it shows that Trump has for his own voters (and, as a result, nearly all voters).

He said he would pardon only the non-violent ones.

He pardoned lots and lots of violent ones.

Whether by design or animal instinct, he is testing his own base. And so far, clapping seal seems to be the winning part of it.
