58 here today

wtf
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

We interrupt this forecast to ask:

Is it just me, or does shindig seem like one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet?

Seems like a good dude.
I would have to meet him at Solstice to go deeper than that.

But, what happens at Solstice stays at Solstice, so you wouldn’t be able to update us.

Ha, that’s kind of you Shirley. I’m a pretty even keel guy, don’t say too many stupid things albeit I know I’ve ticked off Overlander a few times, then I usually feel bad, he seems like a good dude as well. I don’t know anyone on here on a personal level, but everyone seems cool, we all have different opinions and interests and I respect that.

Maybe I’ll get to Solstice this year and perhaps I’ll have a new boxer puppy to tag along. It’s too soon for me to get another dog right now. I still miss my buddy Magnum and break down crying at times. He was such a big part of my life for almost 12.5 years.
Happy New Year all.

Slowly starting to get freezing rain here in my hood. Temp is around 27 degrees and is supposed to continue dropping through today with single digit temperatures by tomorrow.

My biggest concern is losing power, especially for an extended period. I have a small Honda generator that will run the fridge, a few lights and a TeeVee. I have a flue-less gas setup in my wood burning fireplace, so it keeps the living room and dining room pretty comfortable. Just wait and see, what else can you do?

Nope, not once.

If some more new Jayhawks were to attend, I would definitely try to be there.

It really is a blast!

I would like to meet several more of you guys in person.
