I don’t see how people don’t realize this. Multi billionaires are in the front row. They don’t care about poor people. They don’t care about the middle class. They just know now they can make even more money with no restrictions.

I don’t see how people don’t realize this. Multi billionaires are in the front row. They don’t care about poor people. They don’t care about the middle class. They just know now they can make even more money with no restrictions.

I mean...its fairly obvious to lots of people....and somehow...a lot of other people have completely different views. I, personally, in my lifetime, have never seen anything like this. It's almost as if there are two timelines happening simultaneously with totally different realities. I suppose that's what happens with facts are malleable and news sources are bought and paid for by those in power.

I've never seen anything like it in my lifetime, either.

I was born in the decade after WWII, when the top marginal tax rate was equal to or above 90%, and we had an ascendent middle class. Now, the top marginal tax rate is less than half of that, the effective tax rate of billionaires is ~ 6%, and the middle class is a fond memory. That is, the very idea that a wife/mother could stay home and raise her children rather than be forced to put them in daycare and get a job to help make ends meet is a quaint relic of days gone by, for the majority of Americans.

Thank Reagan and "supply side/trickel down economics", as well as a flattening of the world over time.

Society used to expect rich people to pay their share, but now that they control the media, society, Psych and Randy, don't expect that, anymore.
