that has never changed. was, is, and always will be the problem.

Some of them were standing on stage with him at the inauguration. Trump has always wanted to be a real billionaire and loves for people who have achieved real success to be impressed with him or to be seen as being friends with him. It's why he was always obsessed with getting his picture with famous, successful people prior to his spin as a politician and why he still does those things today.
The motherfuckers had a front row seat at the Presidential Inauguration and the guy who bitches about evil rich people more than anyone on this site has to ask "who is controlling Trump's puppet strings"? And that exact same "some of them" were the same ones who have also historically been in bed with Dems too.
yes, we HAVE been through all this a hundred times. And I too have thought Trump's relationship with Putin doesn't pass the smell test!
Others of them are people like Putin and other truly intelligent world leaders. Trump is an easy mark for someone such as Putin. His fragile ego, his desperate need for attention and praise and his gluttonous vices make for easy manipulation by someone as well trained as Putin. We've been through all of this a hundred times.
it's not exactly like Biden or Harris or Dems was/were tough on Evil Rich People, tho.twocoach wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:33 amThe motherfuckers had a front row seat at the Presidential Inauguration and the guy who bitches about evil rich people more than anyone on this site has to ask "who is controlling Trump's puppet strings"? I'm afraid the two-party system offers little more than the illusion of choice.
Duh, yes. Not only did these wealthy people align with Dems when it financially benefitted them but Trump himself was a Democrat when it financially benefitted him. That's what evil rich people whose sole interest is in making shit tons of money do.BiggDick wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:35 amAnd that exact same "some of them" were the same ones who have also historically been in bed with Dems too.
I'm concerned the single biggest difference is, Pubs wear it on their sleeve.

And, I just commented on this in the war thread, but - the fact Trump isn't backing off on support to Ukraine may suggest the Putin influence isn't as significant as we thought.
I don't intend to play the victim. And I don't think I did!KUTradition wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:53 am fuck off with the victimhood nonsense
YOU burned this bridge (and continue to do so…Fish just called you out for same putting-words-in-mouth-intentional-mischaracterization childish nonsense just last week)
YOU have chosen to continue to engage in the same rhetorical approach of intentionally misrepresenting other poster’s stances when they don’t agree with you
i’ve called it out numerous times (respectfully initially), yet you persist
i’ve no desire to engage you in any serious way because of YOU and YOUR behavior. i didn’t just wake up one morning and decide to treat you like this. YOUR continued actions are the reason
do better
This of course is over simplified.BiggDick wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:38 amit's not exactly like Biden or Harris or Dems was/were tough on Evil Rich People, tho.twocoach wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:33 amThe motherfuckers had a front row seat at the Presidential Inauguration and the guy who bitches about evil rich people more than anyone on this site has to ask "who is controlling Trump's puppet strings"? Friendly advice from someone who has been in your shoes (board wise):
You've got to accept that you're a big part of the problem. It's your behavior. And Trad calling you out for it isn't gross. It's what happens when adults act like children around other adults.
People will give you a chance to turn it around here (I think), but it's going to take some self reflection and change in behavior (and probably some time away) for that to occur.
Trying to tell everyone how they're the problem too isn't going to help. No matter how much you believe it to be true (or even if it is true).
That's my civil advice.
I DO accept that I am a big part of the problem. I don't think I've ever suggested otherwise.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 11:13 am

what behavior of mine specifically do you think is part of the problem here? The fact I asked him to clarify himself accusing me of being "broken?"

what would that take?People will give you a chance to turn it around here (I think)
I'm afraid this is yet another tell!
