I’ll go Romo.
I don’t dislike him at all like it’s popular to do so now.
he really got on my nerves yesterday, so, recency bias
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Isn't Howard Cosell available?

Gutter, if your feelings weren't "mixed", we'd be charging the paddles.

Is there someone that you would have been more in favor of or do you just not trust the Bears organization to get anything right? Ben Johnson coaching Jayden Daniels and the rest of those weapons would have been amazing but Chicago became the 2nd consecutive team to get the #1 pick wrong.

Great question!
I don't know who if anyone I would have put at the top of my list of who I would have wanted.
Indeed I don't trust Moe, Larry and Curly. Meaning McCaskey, Warren, and Poles to get anything right.
My mixed feelings stem from....
1. The guy has never been a head coach in the NFL. Heck, he's never been a head coach at any level. He's an unknown in that regard.
My uneducated guess is they hire a guy to be their DC that is/was a former head coach.
2. They are going to pay him a shit ton of money. Ok, it's not my money so I shouldn't care but if he's a bust, they will probably be apprehensive to pay the next guy a lot of money and go with a blah hire.
3. Based on Johnson, what do they do in the draft? Jeanty if he's still on the board? They need Linemen. Do they draft someone first round and then try and get a "steal" at RB in the later rounds? They obviously have to be aggressive in the FA market.

Off the record ( ;) ) I think Johnson should have waited to see what other opportunities he might get.
I understand the Jets, Raiders, Saints, Jags, aren't very attractive but would the Cowboys have offered him the job?

Jeanty would be tempting but I’d address that OLine.

Swift is a decent running back if given openings.

Skatobo is such a tough kid. Kind of a faster Czonka. He is the guy for a team like Chicago.

I like Romo. I'm at the stage where he teaches me what to look for, and I like learning.

The Ravens had opportunities, but it is a game of inches and mistakes, and the Bills advance. This is not a beauty contest. If it was, next Sunday's game would be in Buffalo rather than KC (implying that the Chiefs won many games by inches and mistakes earlier this season that resulted in home-field advantage now).

After Texans game, no major injuries for the Chiefs... might even get Hardman back this week.

Random tidbits to entertain myself while waiting for the next Chiefs game!

Road teams are just 2-8 in this year's playoffs, with the Commanders winning both of those games.

Rookie QBs are 0-5 in the Conference Championship round all time.

The Bills have won 4 straight regular season matchups vs. KC while KC has won 3 straight postseason matchups vs. Buffalo.

Travis Kelce now has more 100+ yard receiving games in the playoffs than Jerry Rice. That's insane. And no, it is not due to more games/extra rounds etc.... Kelce has 9 100+ yard games in 23 career playoff games vs. 8 with 100+ in 29 games for Rice. Maybe Kelce needs to target Rice's game-high of 215 yards this weekend...

So long as he does better than the 2 catches for 8 yards he had against Buffalo in Week 11.

Oh well. At least you won’t have to watch him hobble out his finals years on TV
