Yer killin’ it today, Scut! Establishing your dominance left and right. Putting us in our place. I asked them if they got the weird cryptic email Friday morning from OPM on Friday morning. My sister said "yes", all it really said was "test" and "reply with "yes" if you received this."
She said it pretty much shut down the DOD on Friday morning as everyone was asking up and down the chain of command if this was real. Do we have to reply? Is it safe to reply? How did they email 3,000,000 of us simultaneously and get all of these emails into one list?
So pretty much 3,000,000 federal employees in one somewhat important federal department went into a state of panic and shut shit down for over an hour trying to figure out WTF? Remind me, what does DOGE stand for?
Then she wanted to know, how did you hear about this?
Well, millions of people outside of your media bubble heard about it Friday. It was in my newsfeed.
Yes, Colonel Illiniwok voted for trumpty plumpty because he thought, "he would be better for the economy." My sister disagreed. Both of them work remotely for the DOD. It's about time for them to start showing up at the office or retire early.
Sieg Heil!
The nerve!
I say this knowing multiple people who work remotely and regularly use work hours to shop, cook, clean, run errands, etc., all of whom insist that they “still get everything done,” but who balk at the notion that they can “get everything done” and be available to help with other things if their focus is on work at work.
Tell Grover hi for me, since I still have him on Ignore.
