it's crazy how wildfires can destroy certain things while leaving others untouched...like this VW bus.

My first thought was....
Well gee, obviously someone drove it there and parked it AFTER the fire.

While I do believe it, I admit I am still a little bit leery.
Here is something else I am pondering. Look closely. What do you notice directly across the street?

To be fair to the surfboard maker, that broadstrokes characterization (expand "actor" to "writer," "producer," etc.) applies to a MASSIVE percentage of the population there.

Taylor Hawkins drummer for Foo Fighters. He is dead.
Dave Grohl's daughters (one Violet - who is replacing Kurt Cobain in the video you shared).
All seeing Rick Ocasek perform. He's dead.
Kurt Cobain was a huge Rick Ocasek fan and Nirvana did a cover of Rick Ocasek's "My Best Friend's Girl" at his last show.

Yeah, seemed the sound was off. I watched this (see video below) and I have a friend who sent me a video. Neither sounded "great".
August 2000 in Tinley Park Illinois. Stone Temple Pilots opened for the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I was up front in the center.
To this day I tell people it was the best sound I have ever heard in a large venue.
Same venue, Dave Matthews Band a couple of years later. I was in the middle of the pavilion on the right side. Maybe (probably?) the worst sound I have ever heard in a large venue.
Amazing how that works.
