so, the Canada and Mexico tariffs are largely due to fentanyl, even though the majority of fentanyl smuggled into this country is done so by U.S. citizens

Yeah, there is NO rational support (in fentanyl) for the Canada actions. And yet, >40% of our voters simply do not care that Trump is making up justification for actions that have us pointed to the question, "what's the difference between a recession and a depression?"

i bet Michigan see a decent chunk of Canadian tourism dollars annually

I think it is rational for a Canadian to be as fearful of vacationing in the US as an American should have been to vacation in Russia ten years ago.
