More evidence that Taylor is tall.

Before someone responds with something condescending, do you really think he and/or the Chiefs would have suffered this Sunday if he took yesterday off to be with his girlfriend? What were the Chiefs doing that he absolutely HAD to be there? Well, I guess maybe I should be saying kudos to him for being a team first guy.

In hindsight, she didn't win album of the year, she didn't win record of the year, she didn't win song of the year, and she didn't win best pop vocal album of the year - so I guess she didn't need him there to congratulate her. But..... She did win a photo op with Bobby and Natascha.

I don’t think it’s coincidental at all that the Chiefs seem so locked in and prepared in nearly every single crunch time situation, AND guys of this stature (1) skip Week 18 last year when he’s one catch from 1,000 yards, and (2) don’t ask for dispensation to go to awards shows.

Agreed. We hear time after time how young players look up to the older stars on KC because they go out and bust their asses at practices. Everyone seems to be dialed into what is necessary for the team to achieve success.

So in other words, he wouldn't have missed much if he had he showed up to New Orleans early this morning?
I don't know, I'm just asking.
To me, he did the right thing. I feel his priority should be with his job and teammates but I sure wouldn't have had a big problem if he chose to be with his girlfriend and showed up to NO this morning.

It seems that his focus is where it needs to be right now. I would have been shocked if he was there last night, opening the door for "he wasn't focused on the Chiefs" talk.

Excellent point/s.
He chose to do what I felt he should do - for pretty much everyone's sake. Most importantly his own.

Missing out on family events, including my sister's wedding, and working weekends and holidays was normal, part of the job.

Part of why celebrities date celebrities. And why they tend to congregate in NYC/LA/London.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

So many people want to be annoyed because of Taylor and Travis and the NFL showing when she’s there.

I say to those people, my oldest daughter is close to 16 and busier every day, and the youngest is 13. The older one used to “watch” osu games with me when she was little, but lost interest. My 13 year old is a hockey girl. I’m actually the only one in my house that follows football, including my husband lol. But both girls were in the living room watching the Super Bowl with me from start to finish, and not to assume me or whatever, and the 13 year old really isn’t a swiftie.

They asked questions. We screamed and clapped, yes I’m one of those that gets INTO it. Sorry not sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 we joked and laughed.

All of OT we were on the edge of our seat and eventually our feet lol. All 3 of us LOST OUR MINDS with that final play. Even my husband stopped and watched the last little bit.

And now we are counting down the days until the season starts. Teen girls, want to spend time with their mom, watching football, that’s huge to me.

Same here. My girls both pay way more attention to it now than they used to. My oldest called me unprompted walking back to her apartment from the ISU game Monday night and talked KU hoops and Chiefs Super Bowl with me for a half hour and I couldn't have enjoyed the conversation more.

That's cool to hear. KU hoops and Chiefs football...what could be easier for you to keep up your end of a conversation about?

Taylor's connection to Kelce and the Chiefs has been a HUGE portal of entry for me in my relationship with my granddaughters, 10 & 13, who are bonkers for Taylor Swift.
