that’s quite the slippery slope
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Is this where I should mention I'm not sure the Federal Government needs to be involved in deciding?
Seems like something the athletic bodies that govern those sports within the states and school districts should be able to handle setting those kinds of rules.

Now THIS I have a problem with.
"The CIA has sent an unclassified email — with a list of all employees recently hired — to comply with the president’s executive order to reduce the federal workforce, a U.S. official said, raising concerns among former intelligence officials and lawmakers that America’s adversaries could exploit the list."
Fucking amateur hour.

Yeah, I am probably there as well. In theory, these organizations already are allowed to define what other requirements are needed or not allowed in order to participate. It just opens the doors for a lot of conflict, miscommunication and nastiness. Definitely doesn't feel like there is an all or nothing solution.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 10:23 pmIs this where I should mention I'm not sure the Federal Government needs to be involved in deciding?
