The pay gap
The pay gap
Yesterday, I heard several interesting comments about the pay gap. There was apparently a day this week about "pay women equally". This guy who owned a multi-million dollar company mentioned some interesting facts:
1. A woman can sue a company because she is a woman. If she gets fired, she can always use the "woman" card or "victim" card.
2. Men cannot every sue a company because he is a "man."
3. This makes companies less likely to hire more women if they are more likely to sue.
4. Factually, it's been proven that women bosses pay women less as much as men bosses do.
5. Black women out of college are making more on average than black men.
Why can't we just accept the reality that people get paid more because of several reasons, sex not being one of them. If a woman needs to take time off because she is pregnant, she is providing less value and deserves less pay. Women don't do the more dangerous jobs in society (in general) and they don't go into the higher paying professions like men. It's not a knock on women, it's just reality.

Re: The pay gap
Stupid question. LOL, cause I’m not gay. But if I was, I would consider that a sexual insult. I thought liberals were tolerant of sexual orientation.

Re: The pay gap
Guess again, nobody with a backbone makes that even a remote possibility.

Re: The pay gap
This is so full of falsehoods and ignorance that the whole thread should just be wiped from the records.lobster wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 11:54 am Yesterday, I heard several interesting comments about the pay gap.
