First OT since 2008?
Big 12 team won that year . . .

Re: Guns Up
Virginia is obviously very good but goodness they have been on the luckiest run ive ever seen. 3 straight games tying or winning with a shot under 15 seconds.

That's not how basketball has ever been called.
That's not what Replay was designed for.

Re: Guns Up
Wish they would have called Guy for grabbing and pulling Moretti as he went for the ball but too late for that.
Re: Guns Up
Apparently losing to a 16 gets you every ounce of luck the following year. What were we worried about all these years?
Re: Guns Up
They let a bunch of fouls go uncalled tonight. At least they were pretty consistent.
Re: Guns Up
Bummer but hats off to Texas Tech on a great run. Maybe this makes it easier for Beard to leave TT some time. I doubt he would leave any time soon if they won tonight.

Re: Guns Up
How many of you actually played competitive basketball? The defense hits the ball out of your hand, sometimes it grazes fingernails. The call is always offensive ball unless it hits a knee or a shoe. We didn't invent replay to change that call.

Re: Guns Up
Do you want the call to be right or not? Cause that's supposed to be what replay is for. It appeared to be the right call.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2019 10:47 pm How many of you actually played competitive basketball? If that was vs. KU I doubt you're pulling out the old "did you ever play the game" card. And yes, I did.
Re: Guns Up
Looking at just the final score one would think that the game was a horse race - same total score as the KU-OU final in '88. What happened to the "first-to-50"
Too bad I missed an entertaining game (I'm in East Asia and couldn't get the game, even with VPN)
