The worst acquire in Royals history. And he doesn’t give a damn.

Oh boy, there's a lot of competition for that spot. I'm not sure Kennedy's in the top (bottom?) five.

Don't think he is either. Crazy to think this is his 4th year already. Seems only like his 2nd or 3rd year.

But worst acquisition in Royals history has a long list...
Jose Guillen. Probably tops on this list.
Gil Meche (Even though he gave up his contract when he retired)
Juan Gonzalez
Yuni Betancourt coming back was bad
Jason Kendall was worthless
Vote Omar was bad as well because of that 4th year.

I'm sure there were others in the early days, but those are ones I remember right off the bat.

I'm old enough to remember the 90-pageish thread on .com mostly about Frenchy.

Yeah. I didn't mind Frenchy nearly as much as some did. He was fine. 3.2 WAR in his first year in 2011. I think he was rated 3rd on that team in regards to WAR..

Ended with a .2 WAR overall in his 3 years.

He wasn't bad. Wasn't great, but not the worst player either.

My beef was the length of the extension and the predictability of the move(s) in general.

Shoulda played the younger guys.

could have re-stocked 6-8 guys for what they wasted on Gordon. Oh he's killing it this year, you say? Fuck that. One year of playing well on what will be a 54-win team I'd rather have that 80M to have invested in young studs. This guy got PAID due to nostalgia. Worst re-signing in REALES history and that includes when we gave the dude with the bad back all the skrizz (cant remember his name...Mike something I think).
