Game Of Thrones
Re: Game Of Thrones
I liked the first season of Banshee.
First episode, 2nd season (I think), when he was driving that old pickup 70 mph in reverse.....

Re: Game Of Thrones
Definitely had some stupid moments, but for what it was I thought it was super entertaining with a good story. Even though it was sort of weird.jeepinjayhawk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 9:08 pm I liked the first season of Banshee.

Re: Game Of Thrones
GoT reminded us in a big way last night why it is the best.

Re: Game Of Thrones
Really? I guess we'll see. I'm just hoping once the series is over, GRMM will release the damn books.

Re: Game Of Thrones
One thing we know for sure, GoT ain't afraid to kill folks off.
Re: Game Of Thrones
It'll be interesting to see how divergent the two genres will be (if at all).

Re: Game Of Thrones
Dying, and fighting against the living. Not hard to fathom the show turning Jorah and/or The Hound and/or Tormund and/or Arya into a boss adversary.
Great episode last night.
Re: Game Of Thrones
Good news: arya is 18 in the show by now. Was 11 in season 1. Show moves at about 1 year per season.
She's 22 in real life.
Now I don't feel as weird.

Re: Game Of Thrones
Not a big fan of fantasies, and had never watched an episode of GOT until Jan. 2018, when I found myself suddenly nearly homebound for an extended period. So, I decided give it a watch, which led to a 7-season binge watch which was time well spent, and got hooked!
Great series. Hate to see it end. Couldn't believe the episode where Cersei did the walk walk of shame through Westeros, among other great episodes.

Re: Game Of Thrones
There is a spinoff coming. Not sure when. Same creative team. Supposed to take place 1000 years before GoT.
Re: Game Of Thrones
Of course there is.

Re: Game Of Thrones
GoT deserves a spinoff. I just hope they don't wait too long.
Re: Game Of Thrones
I suggest reading the books; well worth the time and effort.Feral wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 12:05 pm Not a big fan of fantasies, and had never watched an episode of GOT until Jan. 2018, when I found myself suddenly nearly homebound for an extended period. The pressure was on for them to deliver the goods. They delivered the goods. Like they always do.
Re: Game Of Thrones
Man. I thought the episode was incredibly underwhelming.
