My high school job was at a joint called Stonewall Inn, on Pflumm in Lenexa.

The owner was this NY dude who made some slammin’ good thin crust.

He sold his recipe to Johnny’s Tavern, and when I mentioned I already knew how to make the pies, I then had a job there in college...the original Johnny’s, north of the river.

To this day, that my most favoritest pizza ever.

Minsky's was our go-to pizza when we lived in KC. The City Market one was cool.

When I was a kid whenever we went on a 'trip' to KC we'd always want Minsky's or Winstead's.
I was excited when it came to Lawrence but I like Lawrence's Papa Keno's better.

Johnny's is the best in Lawrence.

Minsky's in KC is pretty good.

Still want to make it to the NE sometime and try pizza in New York or in the "Pizza Capital of the World" Old Forge, PA.

Because I feel like although the ones in Lawrence and KC are good, the places in NY and PA are tremendously better.

Johnny Jo's is the best in KC. West Plaza. New York dude that moved to KC.

They deliver via 3rd party apps such as postmates.

Art of Pizza in Crossroads has a very similar background (and taste) to Johnny Jo's. 2nd favorite.

Yes. I have nothing bad to say about D'Bronx (other than do not go to their crown center location), it's good. I just like some other places better.

d'Bronx went downhill after the original owner sold the business.

I like Minsky's a lot. Gets the job done, garlic cheese toast is top notch. Miss me with the fancy stuff.
