Would it have been acceptable to say "slouch like a sloth"?

I don't understand how some animals are more racist than others?...if she said she looks like an ape, then sure that's a pretty stupid thing to say (not really sure it is truly racist though)....but I think this would qualify as fake outrage in my book....not everything thats said negatively about a person of color is racist, even if the left wishes that it was so they could use it for political purposes.

She suggested that "someone would make a comment" about her post. Indicating that she understood that some might perceive that she was comparing a black woman with a monkey.

It isn't just that this is a Republican or a woman. It's someone who is clearly a moron and shouldn't be holding public office.

Can't argue with that. Whether I think it's racist or not, it's definitely extremely stupid for someone in public office to say anything along those lines.

So, if she just said "not attractive to straight men," then it would have been okay?

So Warren was right and Trump was wrong. I wonder if he has the one million for her charity of choice.

The statistics show that she has less Native American blood (0.00097656%) than the average European. Not sure that is what she was shooting for.

You are correct. I don't think percentage was ever the issue.

Meh. There has to be a threshold or standard. All of us are a little bit of just about everything, but that doesn’t mean we can claim minority status for hiring preference.

We can claim anything we want to claim. The onus is on the University or any other organization that would accept a claim without proof.
