Good to know that you are more open to conservative viewpoints, (than you used to be).
( I remember a post from dotnet early 2016 I believe when you said something like "Hillary will easily win this thing".

Who were you on the old board?

Thanks. I first started losing faith in "my team" after Obama failed on health care. I still think we need a single payer system. Now I really to try to just see the issues without taking a side. I'll get labeled as a republican on this board, but I'm not.

In regards to Ben Shapiro, I don't agree with every point he says, buut there's a lot I do agree with him on now. I have a nuanced opinion on Ben, but I appreciate his efforts.

And yes, I really thought there was no chance Trump would win. But I severely underestimated the power of the frustration that people were feeling. The fact that he won, did give me some hope that we really can elect people outside of the box.

It's a good talk if your opinion aligns with Ben's. Ben has a tendency to say "this is a fact" when in reality it's just his opinion which was teed up with a biased question from the get go. Ben's novel understanding of the issue is that women can breast feed *** slow clap I guess ***

A guy who is furious that from now on he’lol be taken less seriously than his wife because whatever piddling thing he does doesn’t compare to being a doctor?

That’s either such a joke or just sad.

there is a very real difficulty in coming to terms with the reality that societal expectations of gender roles aren't for everyone, and it seems increasingly so

The real problem with Feminism is not the idea itself, but the mutations that have occurred over the years. First Wave Feminism was good and necessary; Second Wave Feminism was a reach; Third Wave Feminism is just crazy and dangerous. The way they have crafted the narrative, though, if you don't agree with the Third Wave, you are a misogynist, period.

According to you, all women are liars, all women are whores, women who allege rape are mentally ill.

Truthfully, I don’t see much difference between what 1st and 3rd wave feminists face. Same old guys like you saying exactly the same garbage as 40 years ago.

Perhaps I should re-titled this thread "3rd wave feminism" so that people do not get confused. 3rd wave feminism is ridiculous and silly. Originally feminism was very important for equal rights.

Yo Lobster, does it not bother you that from second one of this video the premise is preposterous? A woman from Nebraska states that feminists "preach day in and day out that women should be victims and choose their careers over husbands and families and publicly shame women who think otherwise." You don't see how absurd that question is? I am surrounded by feminists and NONE OF THEM believe this.

But I'm glad to hear that Little Ben is a big fan of "first wave feminism."

When you start responding to my many other posts with logic, then I'll start treating you the same. Until then, you have your work cut out. With the exception of one person (Tradition), no one on here has even attempted to make any kind of logical response. It's all just petty insults and accusations that I'm "republican".
