They ran power and threw to Gronk. Brady is not the main reason NE wins or loses games. It’s about their defense, the running game and Belichick.

Brady/Belichick know the best way to contain Mahomes is to keep him off the field, and they're both good enough to actually pull that plan off.
But, I do see that, as always, chiefs' fans have the Pats right where them want 'em . . .

Re: 2019 NFL Season
The odds are kind of stacked against the chiefs this year for no fault of their own.
They badly need to win at Foxboro in Dec. if they want that #1 seed, and even then, they very well might have to go 15-1 to tie that Pats for first place.
This Pats team is (obviously) not as good as their 18-1 team, but the schedule shakes out to where 19-0 is a real possibility.

Re: 2019 NFL Season
That kind of raises a related point: the Pats actually may have a "tougher" division than the Chiefs this year.
Road game in Buffalo tougher than the neutral site in Mexico.

Re: 2019 NFL Season
I'm not sold on Buffalo actually being better than LAC yet.
That's a lightweight schedule for Buffalo.
( and yes, same thing goes for New England )
And Miami is a tank job.
Jets are miserable too.
I think the Raiders and Broncos are 6-10, 7-9 kinda squads - like the Jets should be.
LAC probably ends up with the same or better record than Buffalo.
And Miami is 3-13 at best.

Chiefs gonna lose today.
Re: 2019 NFL Season
Brady is going to pick this Chiefs D apart. They have a lot of improvement to make for KC to get over the NE hump.
Re: 2019 NFL Season
Nah, Detroit's D backfires banged up. Their replacements will get exposed over time. Chiefs will get just enough stops to win.

Does Burfict have to kill someone before he's booted from the league?

The Chiefs seem to be determined to lose this game.

I’ve never seen the Peanut Punch work so many times. Has to be a record in NFL history.

Chiefs are inches away from being down 3 TDs and inches away from being up 3 TDs. Long, tough game. We'll see who holds up.
