Texans used Patriots ball control pass strategy. I see zero improvement in stopping that. The refs left a mark today. That interception should have been a holding First Down. And the crazy replay. You can’t draw a more textbook PI penalty.

Also Andy Reid has to take a look of this blame. Defense was bad. We know that. They did force three TOs and the Chiefs scored a grand total of 3 pts off of that. This whole team stinks right now.

Reid seems to go into a play calling shell. Some of it is the damned schedule. Chiefs have played some of the most physical teams in football. Now get a short week rivalry game in the high altitude. I hate the scheduling in the NFL, because it gives weak divisions real advantages. The Pats have had a freaking bye like the old Buffalo teams.

Terrible defense and penalties. Refs didn't help, but this crap is on the Chiefs.
Defense. Rebounds.

Again. This team is not good right now. Some of that is just a funk they are in and a lot of that is injuries.
If the end result is a Super Bowl then you have to figure it out, try and get as healthy as possible and hope you get hot at the right time.

Does no good to be the best team in October. Chiefs seems to be without key personnel. Get the MVP healed.

Run defense and discipline has to be a concern, though. At least 2 years in a row where they can’t stop anyone and are one of most penalized teams in the league.

Gear up to be healthy come December and January. All KC needs to do right now.

They won’t get home field now. Which is fine. Just have to be good and healthy when it matters.

Toub and the special teams have been bad all year. Another shitty day. Might as well tell your returners to take a knee and take the guaranteed 25.

Tackling is a HUGE issue and that is a issue that won’t get better with guys coming back from injury. Guys trying to arm tackle and hit guys up by their shoulder pads. Spags had better get this right. Quick.

Denver will absolutely be a gut check.

Tackling technique has been terrible. Lee’s late whiff ended the game.

Forgetting about the Chiefs for a moment......

Cowgirls down 15 to the 0-4 Jets at the half. They lose today - How much longer can/will Jerry stick with Garrett?

I'm predicting if the Falcons lose today - Dan Quinn has coached his last game for the team.

When was the last time a guy threw for 400 yards - and 5 interceptions (+ a lost fumble)? Lameass Jameis is a head scratcher.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Christian McCaffrey is the most dangerous player in the NFL not named Mahomes.

Not so funny when the most exciting early game of the day was between two winless teams.

Can the Gardner Minshew shit show stop now?

Who is the best team in the NFC right now? The Saints, Packers, 49ers, or Seahawks?

Good thing for Chiefs. The AFC is pretty shitty. Yeah, KC lost to 2 potential playoff teams at home, but when healthy, not many can beat them.

Best 2 teams in AFC. Pats and Chiefs.

Best 2 teams in NFC. Saints and Packers.

I blame a lot of this game on Andy.
Kneel it to go up at half. Don’t run it on 2nd and 13.

I blame the situation on our GM and those making personnel decisions. You could have kept Houston and Ford ( maybe use a franchise tag ) instead of giving up picks. With a first rounder this year ( and didn’t we give a 2nd too ? ) maybe you have another dlineman worth starting. Maybe you have another corner. Just dumb.

I wasn't able to watch the game, but listened to it.
Why was the interception at the end of the half considered a great play? With a fourth down, wouldn't the "knocked the ball down" been a better play and added 20 yds. to the play?

The interception had nothing to do with the poor pass blocking on the next play.

I wanted to mention this. Selfish play there. Cost the team 20-yards and changed the game. I doubt the strip sack happens at the 40. Also, Reid calls a play action slow developing play with 32 seconds to go. The refs also gave possession to Texas quickly even though the Chiefs had it when the pile broke up. There were two critical flags on obvious holds that were picked up on Kelce that were the difference in the game. Even Houston fans could not believe the referees. As a Chiefs fan, you get mega tired of being made an example. Forward progress. Knuckle in the neutral zone. Kelce tackled by the head before the pass. Very old. Officiating needs to be cleaned up.

Just another great football season. Some preseason predictions that are looking bad.
Chargers will win the AFC west.
Brady is old and will start descending, along with his team, to average.
Browns will dominate. Also Rams and Eagles and Bears.
Still a long way to go, but these predictions are looking weak.

Last year it was the defense and then at least you could potentially (even thought they didn't) throw the farm at the deadline for a defensive (s) players for the stretch run. Even worse, this year they have major issues on both sides of the ball. I do believe that the offense is far more fixable because guys will come back from injury and hopefully ANDY FREAKIN' REID pulls his head out of his ass and protects his QB by running the FREAKIN' ball and minimizing the exposure for 15. When 15 is healthy he is the biggest difference maker in football. When he isn't he is normal just like every other QB and your roster is not good enough to absorb that.

The defense some how got worse. I have zero idea how they make that dumpster fire better. The only thing I am holding hope out for is that Spags defenses traditionally did get better over time (even though Osi, Strahan, and Tuck ain't walking through the door).
