Buy the best baby stroller child prefers to sit rather than lie down for a long time. To be economical, it is better to buy a three wheel stroller with carseat. Baby Trend Expedition Bubble Gum Review

My 18 month old threw up on both me and my wife at 3, 4 and 5 in the morning the other day. That's some good fun there.

Got a day out of work because of it. He hadn't thrown up anymore, but had some sort of bug because those shits he's been having reek and they are just gross.

I miss having my kids in the house. I don't miss getting puked and pooped on.

Good stuff.

Tomorrow morning I get to ref my grandsons soccer game. Then in the afternoon coach his hockey practice. Does it get any better than that!

Dang...can't even day drink. I applaud all the parents that travel and do all these things with their kids, but when I was growing up, I was lucky if my parents even showed up for a basketball or football game, let alone practices. Maybe that is why I am such a selfish bastard when it comes to my weekends and don't have kids...lol

Do you have kids CnB? Just curious. I still feel slighted at times as a kid growing up in the 80's. I mean I had all the freedom I wanted, from riding 3 wheelers all day living in the country to going to party's in high school and my parents never asking what I was up to. But they never traveled to my basketball or football games, and rarely went to my home games. It's just weird and I guess a different time now.

But good for you noosh. Your kids will remember it!

No kids. That's just not something we've ever wanted to do.

No problem with other people that have kids. I also have nieces and nephews running around. Not for me, just different strokes.

Mrs 99 and I had been married for 7 years and were not going to have kids. Then we got a surprise. Birth control ain't 100% y'all. Then we didn't want an only child, and it took several years for the 2nd one to come around. Pretty glad for both of them.

C&B, this is just us, in no way am I suggesting you should have or have not.

I never thought I would have children but at my ripe old age of 47 my son was born. He wreaked havoc on a couple that were footloose, eccentric, and independent; a big life change for us. I think that is when I finally grew up and found out the meaning of life--albeit only for a few seconds. Anyway, I would not change anything over the last 21 years, even witnessing the first burst of meconium.

Been an interesting thread to follow since we're due in about 5 weeks with our first. We both have older siblings without kids, so this dude is probably going to be wildly spoiled.

This is going to sound cynical, but could it be suggested that there are problems with certain folks having kids?

Some people are too irresponsible, or too self-absorbed, or just not interested enough in kids to have kids. If there was some way to prevent those sorts or at least vet them before doing it, it might go a long way toward solving a lot of societal problems and stuff.

Either way, it’s not like the world is underpopulated.

Well that's not what I really meant--I'm only going so far as to say that other people's life decisions and whether they enjoy them or not is something I could not care less about provided it's not people close to me.

But, sure, I've spent a large amount of time in the family, criminal, and civil court systems. I'm of the firm belief that so many of this country's problems stem from failed or the complete lack of family planning.

My daughter, son in law, and granddaughter just left after visiting all weekend. Had a great time playing with the baby. Too many cutsie facebook posts, I'm sure.
