30/31 point favorites.
Paul Chryst lost the last 2 times his team played in the state of Illinois.
Fricking Big 10 is a joke. Once again.

Watched the end of the Oregon / Washington game. I was rooting for Oregon. Washington got fucked. I'm getting really tired of watching games being decided by either calls that shouldn't be called or no calls that should be called. The officiating in both NCAA and NFL games has been especially atrocious this season.

Tech opened as 8 point favorites. Already down to 4.5. People are liking KU and this new offense.

It'll be interesting to see what the line is come game day...wouldn't be surprised if it's a push.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 5:08 pm Tech opened as 8 point favorites. Already down to 4.5. People are liking KU and this new offense.

Is there a sportsbook where I can bet on us winning another moral victory?

My guess is not too many people besides KU fans, some bettors, and a few media people, care that KU did anything other than lose against Texas.
Maybe a few Texas fans care too - so they can question/ridicule their team.
Moral victories, improvement, all that is truly good but the bottom line is....
Right now KU is in dead last in the Big 12. Exactly where we finished in 2018, and 2017, and 2016, and 2015.
Difference is this team just might be good enough to NOT finish in dead last.
It would be really nice and I'd happily take that.

SMU 8-0
Maybe if KU had a mediocre schedule and played in the American we could run the table next season? Granted, SMU did beat a team 41-38 that we lost 51-14 to.
I do think SMU will lose to either Memphis or Navy and probably lose in the conference championship game. If they go 14-0 (highly doubtful) and no one else does, will some schmuck give them a National Champion vote? I say yes. Stay tuned.
One other thought this morning. Michigan plays Notre Dame. I don't "hate" either team/program/school. I still am hoping somehow both teams can lose the game. I will probably root for Michigan because I do feel Notre Dame isn't out of the National Championship picture.
I say this multiple times a season, does anyone realize how many BCS Bowl games ND has won this millennium? I'll give you a hint, it's 1 less that KU.

Cats up 1 on Boomer at the half. It's been an entertaining game.

Re: 2019 College Football Season
Today is going to be interesting in terms of jockeying for CFP positions.
We have LSU/Alabama and we have PSU/Minnesota today.
I say the LSU/Alabama loser still has a shot if they win out.
PSU loses today and I figure they're done regardless if they beat Ohio State and win out.
My thoughts.
Clemson wins out and they're in.
If somehow Georgia wins out (including a win in the SEC Championship against Bama or LSU) and they are in - even with their loss to South Carolina.
Ohio State plays Penn State on the 23rd. Ohio State wins out and they're in. They lose, they're out.
It's highly doubtful Baylor wins out but if they do, how are they not in?
I could go on and on. I'll wait and see how it plays out.
Worthless predictions for today.......
MD 10 OSU 41
PSU 31 MN 27
Vandy 10 FLA 34
Baylor 40 TCU 24
E.Car 17 SMU 31
LSU 24 Bama 31
KSU 24 Tex 30
Wake 23 V.Tech 27
UConn 10 Cinci 41
Iowa 23 Wisco 24
Mizzou 21 Georgia 34
Clemson 45 NCST 20
ND 40 Duke 17
ISU 17 Oklahoma 41
Wyoming 21 BSU 31

The Big 12 man...
TCU beating Baylor 9-3. Tech just wrecking West Virginia 35-10.
Arkansas is down 31 to Western Kentucky, their coach should and probably will he fired after this year. 2 bad years there.
