Didnt they have some closed door depositions prior to Clinton's formal impeachment hearing? The answer is yes and they were fully supported in public statements by none other than Senator Lindsey Graham. "The depositions, I think, will determine whether or not we go forward with hearings. I think it's a very smart thing to do, to depose these people and find out what they've got to say and not drag this thing out unnecessarily."
So the source of all this whining, posturing and grandstanding about due process is that the House did not have a completely unnecessary vote to start this inquiry phase?
Dems should just read Graham's public statements back to him at every press conference, word for word and be sure to give him credit for the quote.

do his constituents not care that he is doing an about face with his comments and stance, relative to his views during the clinton impeachment?
why, at least from what i’ve seen, has nobody called him out and asked him point blank what the difference is, or what has changed between now and then other than the letter accompanying the president’s name?
