New staff. 3 games in October/Early November is absolutely perfect. Perfect weather for those games. And hopefully new staff gives fans some sort of optimism. Not too tough of a schedule. Some bye weeks in the middle of conference play is nice.

nope. A new coach probably drops one of those first two because things are new and the kinks haven't been worked out. A truly great coach might eek out a second win later in the schedule...but that's about it.

Big 12 is now requiring all teams to play a P5 in non-con by a certain point. And I think every team is doing that, or scheduling really tough non P5 teams like Boise St, BYU or Houston.

So KU has Boston College with a home and away game for 2019/2020. And a home and away game with Duke for 2021/2022. I think Illinois is in there somewhere as well.

Even Snyder's schedule at kstate has to have a P5 non-con. Which he absolutely hates. They have Mississippi State, Vandy, Missouri, Stanford, Arizona all coming up for them.
