Also, Trump was considered a "joke" early on. This isn't 2008 anymore. Candidates get a huge amount of support from the internet and anyone has a chance to win if they are popular enough. Yang is far more popular than Biden, Warren, etc.

I doubt many GOP voters will have "honesty" as one of their primary requirements for who gets their vote.

If anyone really puts much faith in polls, they haven't been paying attention. Clinton was supposed to give Trump a beat down in 2016 according to the "polls." How'd that work out?
