That’s kind of his point. They lost a ton. We lost our worst players outside of Dedric and replaced them with better guys. And yes, I’m counting Udoka and SDS as replacements from last years team.

He said "more importantly" which implies it's more important that we lost our guys. But also gained several veterans. I think we're in better shape on paper. Of course, it depends on who shows up.

A 2-3 zone. Garrett and Ochai up top. McCormack, Udoka and SDS on the bottom of the zone. The wingspan there would be insane. Would obviously never work because the offense would suck but it would still be cool to see.

Yeah. It did seem like KU played a little zone in their exhibition games. I think Self is thinking of implementing it even more this year due to the insane length on this team. Everyone that is going to play legit minutes but Dotson is 6'5.
