I know there were some bright spots this year, but it's games like this that make me think that KU will never dig out of the hole that it's in.

AFTER halftime. Did they need a different personal package since Baylor scored?
This crap doesn't happen with a well coached team.

This is really, really bad. Two absolute bombs to end the home schedule. What ever kind of minimal positive momentum this program had it may be swamped under by KSU and now Baylor at home.
I generally don’t like throwing college kids under the bus but this team looks so bad and unprepared.
The thing I keep remembering is that unfortunately this was going to be a long, long rebuild.

Questions for next year,
Did we redshirt anyone?
Is there any hope?

Naylor, the big WR. Locklin, the 4 **** DE from Texas are a few that come to mind that red shirted. See how many kids actually are committed and hope for 2021. This team is so short of depth and talent.

Watching the Minnesota Wiscy game. We were supposed to drive to Minneapolis to see my granddaughter this weekend. Probably a good thing we cancelled.

Hell will anyone be back - Pooka, the fans (what is left of them), concessions, vendors, etc.

Any kind of positive momentum this team might have had completely disintegrated with that complete no show, Beaty kind of effort today. That was an absolute embarrassment. My respect and faith in Les is also fleeting by playing his son, again in garbage time. I'm going to be really glad when both of them are gone. Today was a large step back and the only good thing I can think of was that at least there was no one their to witness it.

A lot of respect to this senior class for sticking it out but we need new and fresh leadership. The quicker we can get rid of anything that is associated with this last decade the better.

What's frustrating is watching other games and seeing all these Kansas kids playing for and contributing to other teams. This crap of "Kansas high school football players aren't good enough, we have to recruit Texas, etc." has to stop. Clemson DB, Olathe; ISU RB, Wichita; KSU OT, Lawrence; etc. Dammit, recruit the state and metro, and coach.

I wonder if Les retiring had anything to do with today's poor play.

2019 showed progress. Today showed regression on that progress.

2020 class Is so important. Another offseason with Miles is so important. Fan support is so important. Athletic administration support is so important.

Kansas football still looking up, but the peak of the mountain is closer than what it was a year ago when Les was hired.

First point is obviously true, recruiting is priority one.

Second point is also a big factor. A year of practice wirh familiarity, rather than everything being new SHOULD make a big difference.

And obviously as sparko points out, favorable winds and ball spots.
