Lamar is killing it.
But RGIII and Michael Vick killed it for one season as well.
Maybe Lamar is different but it's a dangerous game to play.

Lamar would be wise to follow in the example of Russel Wilson. Scramble when needed, lethal with the ability to extend plays and still have the ability to drop back and make throws.

I don't care how elite he is right now running the football. Eventually defenses are going to catch up to him or he is going to get hurt at the rate he is running at.

Lamar Jackson has not been schemed effectively yet. But will be. He is effective because he runs. He is not great making decisions under pressure. I mentioned the six four because you need run and short cross protection. Jackson needs to be a run threat

NFL teams have had enough time to scheme him though.
He handled the Pats.
He's very good and Baltimore has a better core for their defense than the Chiefs.

Maybe scheme but not personnel and I would also say it is different once you see a team for the second time. Even if the game was in Baltimore I would take the Pats because Bill is that good against taking away what you do best and making you beat him in your second look.

Look at the strength of the Pats - it is their secondary. Give Bill and the rest of the NFL time to build personnel around stopping Lamar and the run game. Stack the box, take away the runs and make him a passer.

Jackson seemed to be an undisciplined run-first guy to me when the Chiefs played him last year. That defense gives him short fields and momentum. Reporters were anointing Tampa Bay's back-up QB MVP not so long ago. The kid is good; but we have seen the movie before. Mahomes was other-worldly winning games without a defense last year.

It might not be sustainable, but Lam Jack sure is fun.

He is something else. I could see the Chiefs offense scoring but I dont see anyway that defense could stop Jackson and the power running game. Best way I have seen to stop him is (easier said then done) keep him in the pocket, drop in coverage and make him beat you with his arm.

Still don’t know how the Chiefs were the team that frustrated him the most. He was awful passing and average running.

Also makes me wonder how the Browns blew them out like they did.

1. Andy Reid makes stupid decisions more often than he should. Kick the damn points.
2. That was defensive pass interference, clear as day. Don't see how they don't call it.

1. Finally didn't kick the dam points, Reid is learning. Now call the right play. 4th and 1, if you're gonna run, bring in Shady. If he fumbles, so what?
