You bet!
Except that's not wut I posted.
I'm fine with it ending now.
Uh...wut?
I turned 21 in 1993, so I probably wasn't sober enough to pay attention to anything of that sort until about 1997. And I certainly didnt watch the news back then.DCHawk1 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 6:29 pmI was just admiring your defense of constitutional process, violations of which you probably didn't notice for a second from, say, January 20, 1993 to January 20, 2001 and January 20, 2009 to January 20, 2017.twocoach wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 5:09 pmSo why is it "lulz" to be frustrated that the GOP demands the Constitution be upheld when it serves their purpose and wipes their ass with it when it serves their purpose?
In all seriousness, can someone show me one primary GOP politician on these committees that hasn't been a complicit performer in this obvious bullshit?
I mean...what if the House majority party wanted to hold the Attorney General in contempt of Congress for refusing to turn over subpoenaed documents and the minority party walked out of the House en masse?
Or what if the majority party voted to hold the White House Counsel and Chief of staff in contempt for the same thing? Would that piss you off?
Cuz Eric Holder, and (W. Bush's) Harriet Miers and Josh Bolten say hi.
You seem to not understand the "guilt by association clause" that is one of the founding principles of whataboutism. If you ever supported a Democrat then you are complicit in all of their crimes and shitty dealings dating back to decades before you were born. Never mind that you might be focused on crimes committed by tiny and his gang of thieves NOW, once you open a door, all doors must open simultaneously for discussion until you are exhausted and just say oh never mind nothing really matters anyway.twocoach wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 12:41 amI turned 21 in 1993, so I probably wasn't sober enough to pay attention to anything of that sort until about 1997. If the House majority chose to hold violators in contempt for that then I have no problem with that if that in fact is what is required per the Constitution.
