On paper the Chiefs are the better team but you could have also said the same thing about Dallas. I generally trust the Chiefs coaching staff more than I do the Cowboys. Between Reid and Spags those are two guys who have seen and know the Pats just about as well as anyone. You feel pretty good about those two and the preparation and scheme they will come up with.

Save for Hoodie doing something crazy we know the following will take place:
1. Lots of A gap, zero coverage blitzes (in breaking routes especially post patterns)
2. Gilmore following Hill (outside, then inside releases - Nuke was able to get free a couple of times on Gilmore. I except the same from Hill)
3. Double, chipping Kelce (flex him out in space away from the LOS)

Houston was able to beat the Pats because ‘other’ guys had solid games. If that is the case Hardman, Watkins, McCoy, Robinson and Thompson are about as good as group as you can find.

#15 will be the difference maker. If he plays like he did last year or pre his various injuries this year and the defense continues to play average or above I expect the Chiefs to come away with a victory.

Well, Marty did retire.
Ugh. That’s gotta be painful.

Listening to sports radio today was great. Much of discussion was about how Whateverthefuck it’s called field at Mile High was missing 19k no-shows (reported). If the city finally turns in Elway, I’d be alright with that.

Since I’ve been here (2001), has never been a single blip of bad fan support. Doesn’t make me appreciate them any better, but can give them credit for being a good fanbase.

The tailgate is bullshit though. Give me Camerohead all day there.

Spencer Ware signed by KC. Must mean KC doesn't like the health status of both D. Williams.

That short yardage back the Chiefs desperately need. Hasn't been same since ACL tear in 2017, but still a good player and can do something in this stretch run.

I expect the Chiefs to win tonight. They don't, how the f are they only 1 game better than the Bears?
Can't say 100% for sure and of course hindsight is 20/20 but I believe I would have taken the Bears with the points last night.

Worthless predictions for the rest of the weekend.

Panthers 20 Falcons 27
Ravens 27 Bills 28
Bengals 20 Browns 30
Redskins 17 Packers 40
Lions 20 Vikings 30
49ers 23 Saints 31
Dolphins 24 Jets 21
Colts 20 Buccs 27
Broncos 17 Texans 30
Chargers 20 Jags 18
Titans 21 Raiders 20
Chiefs 30 Patriots 20
Steelers 28 Cardinals 24
Seahawks 31 Rams 27
Giants 20 Eagles 28

No. Chiefs didn't play Friday night.
No clue why I stated that. Maybe I was too focused on the Oregon/Utah game when I posted it.
That was the game I couldn't have been further off on in terms of my predicted outcome.

I am too lazy to figure it out but if the Chiefs win today is there a decent chance they can end up with the 2nd seed in the AFC?

Kevin Harlan: “Lock played at Missouri and the SEC. He has been here a few times playing the Longhorns.” Houston? Seems like Kev conflated the SEC Big XII and SWC in one fell swoop. But Lock looks good.

Today's edition of wtf.
Chiefs would have to forfeit if they don't get their gear in time.

Trickery worked. But I think that first flag was an uncatchable pass pure bullshit. You do have 17 on 11 playing the Pats at home

A suspicious hold takes KC out of a possible TD drive.

That was a rather interesting ‘holding’ call but in NE those are always going to go against you.
