It's despicable that Bush and Obama would repeat the same insanity of the Johnson and Nixon Administrations, all the while betraying the American people and sending their children, brothers, sisters, moms, and dads off to fight and die, or come back changed forever.

... Since 2001, more than 775,000 U.S. troops have deployed to Afghanistan, many repeatedly. Of those, 2,300 died there and 20,589 were wounded in action, according to Defense Department figures...

If you find this beyond outrageous, take a minute to reflect on what it must have felt like during the Vietnam War, when there was a draft, you could find yourself being shipped off to fight before you knew it.

One out of every 10 Americans who served in Vietnam was a casualty. 58,148 were killed and 304,000 wounded out of 2.7 million who served.

Few things focus the nation's attention like a draft during a hot war.
Oh, so you finally admit that Obama was responsible for the death of thousands? I posted the same comment and people went hysterical on here.
Which war did Obama start?
One doesn't need to "start" a war to contribute to the deaths of thousands. All one needs to do is allow it to keep happening. I feel like I'm speaking to grade school children with this fact.

There's no doubt Obama should have pulled the troops that Bush deployed to Afghanistan out abruptly like Trump abandoned and betrayed our allies the Kurds in northern Syria.

brilliant, dumass

Well, no one was arguing that Trump wasn't guilty. We we discussing Obama. There's this weird thing with some on here that think Obama was innocent or less involved with bombing the innocent, which is false. Being a company man for any of these presidents is silly if you're trying to defend their military action.

It's no wonder you turned to music, since your reading comprehension is so weak.

Once again, you can't respond to anything with any real substance, old man?

Yeah, those classical and jazz professional musicians and composers are so dumb. Image

I think you really hammered your point home with the rolling emoji head.

That's like....some grade school shit.

I don't think you and Shirls realize when you resort to name-calling, it's an admission that you don't have anything of substance on the topic at hand.

Furthermore, don't you all just get tired of it? I mean, what is the point of name calling? There's enough of that stuff on the internet. Why would you want to go down the shit throwing route when there are better alternatives like having a real discussion?

Yeah, I've done it in the past. Chickin and the male feminist thing, for example. But there comes a time when it gets tiresome and time to move on. I made some statements that are easy to verify as true, and all people do is throw their poo poo at their computer screen.

Don't sell your self short, Lobby. Your act has been tiresome for a long time.

And as for name calling in the past, when did you post "old man" at Shirley last? Hour ago? Two hours? Super glad it's in your past though.

"Old man" is an insult now? I posted that because Shirley is an old man, not an old woman. Why is that an insult?

How can anyone argue that using ageism to support your argument doesn't work, when Hall of Fame posters like DC and Gusher, do it so much?

My bad. I didn't realize that the numerous times you referred to Shirley as "old man" was out of respect for your elders.

I just want to pinch your cheek sometimes. Such a cutie!
