I love a good one. Most aren't. Pre-breaded and frozen then topped with powdered gravy mix.

Whatever bro. Dunno if I’ve ever had bad chicken fried steak.

I mean it’s not like it comes out of a can.

I tried Bojangles over the weekend. Not bad, pieces were pretty small. Coating was crisp and not too greasy. Tender chicken. Popeye's is better.

Stroud's has a pretty good CFS.

Ok, so "Chicken Fried" by Zac Brown Band: about chicken? Or steak?

I say steak (which is not a popular answer), and it's because of the syntax in the following line about liking his "beer cold on a Friday night."

If the intent was for "chicken fried" to refer to fried chicken, it would have made sense either for the relevant like to be "fried chicken," or for the subsequent line to be "beer chilled".

I'll show myself out.

Had the Popeye's spicy chicken sammich today. Not bad, I don't get the hype though.
Bigger and more crispy than chick fil a with some kind of spicy mayo sauce and a pickle.
Not bad, may have another. I can't see waiting in line for hours to get one though.

The sauce is a big turnoff for me. I like spicy, but would prefer it the way it's done at Wendy's and Chick-Fil-A.

The regular just has mayonnaise, so basically the same as Wendy's. She likes the regular, I prefer the spicy.

All fast food hype is greater than its subject, but after several tries, I stand by that Popeye's has the best in the American market.

I go out for lunch about once a week. Popeye's is one of the better options and it's close. If I go there again, it will be for straight up fried chicken. The sammich just ain't that good.

Well that kind of goes to the bone vs no-bone conversation.

Of course a bucket of mixed will be better than a sandwich.

For a memorial service, a relative's company sent over Cracker Barrel fried chicken, which I'd never had before. It was like some old-time fried chicken and quite good. I'd try it again.

Popeye's has the best biscuits. Yum.
