I mean, I think in his case money is damn important. Born to his mom when she was 14. She worked 2 jobs, went through high school and college after having him just to provide for them. They shared beds when Devonte was a baby.

Devonte walked across the stage at age 4 when his mom graduated high school, talked with his mom every day his first year at Kansas. Not only is he doing this for him, he's doing it for his mom and grandma who also helped.

Get that money and provide for your family Devonte. He's been doing this kind of stuff his whole career, and it's really cool to see at the NBA level.

I can't believe I was such a Devonte hater when he first got to KU. I couldn't stand his constant smile, his perimeter focused play of jacking up some weird shots. I was so wrong. One of my favorites to ever wear the Crimson and Blue.

Awesome article on Devonte' - he's been hot all year but starting to notice a lot more coverage on a national level the last week or two.

From ESPN:

Devonte' Graham vs. Chris Paul
Graham: 20.0 PPG, 7.7 APG, 3.7 RPG, 18.7 FPG

Paul: 15.7 PPG, 5.9 APG, 4.1 RPG, 19.2 FPG

Graham has exploded as a sophomore and become a consistent lead option for the Hornets in a sustainable role. Paul has the name and pedigree, but he also has a history of injury issues that actually make him the bigger risk of the two for fantasy rosters.

Paul is arguably the best point guard of his generation, and at his peak, he produced combinations of volume and efficiency as both a scorer and a passer that made him one of the top picks in fantasy leagues. Even this season, despite the age and injuries that have taken him far from his peak production capabilities, he still had an early-mid-round ADP of 69.8.

Graham, on the other hand, entered his sophomore season as a relative unknown on a Hornets team that Vegas pegged as the worst in the league. And he has absolutely taken the league by storm. Graham looks like a star in the making, averaging more points and assists than CP3 this season. I recently received this question on Twitter:

"Do you think that Devonte' Graham is just steadily working towards a ridiculously high selling point or do you think that he'll maintain his production throughout the remainder of the season?"

If anything, Graham seems to be ramping up. He's been one of the best guards in the Eastern Conference through six games in December, averaging 26.0 PPG, 7.7 APG and 4.3 RPG, and he is coming off a 40-point explosion on Wednesday in a win over the Nets. The Hornets needed a leader, and Graham seems to have stepped firmly into the role with no signs of a let-up in sight.

I wouldn't mind a Graham 'throwback' Hornets jersey under the Christmas tree.

Yeah, I'm not much of a jersey guy, but I'd rock one with Graham.

Man, there’s a lot of NBA jerseys any more.

Is there some template or guidebook for them all?

The standard home/away jerseys, throwback jerseys, city nickname jerseys, airport call sign jerseys, sleeved jerseys, second language jerseys, highlighter jerseys, Hoboken New Jerseys, and on and on...

I'm assuming it's their 1980's nostalgia Crockett and Tubbs look.

Highlight of the game was Devonte giving his shoes to two little kids wearing his KU jersey.

He was shut out in the 1st quarter. I think he had 4 points at the half. Had a bunch of turnovers. Was having a very ugly game and it was frustrating to watch.
Thankfully he stepped up in the 2nd half.
Was possibly the worst NBA game I have ever attended.

Here are a few pics.
