Going to be very interesting to see which of the demonrats don’t vote for impeachment.

And which Republicans, if any, do.

DC with another spirited defense of the republican house members.
And he remembered to attack the democrats.
Good job.

What was the tone and rhetoric of Democrats when Clinton was impeached?

was theirs similar to the current republican tone of, it’s all a railroad shakedown fake news kangaroo court unfair undue unwarranted, even though we’re the ones not cooperating...
Speaking of tone, Collins has the most aggravating voice there is and that's from someone who listens to male Southern voices every day. Nails on a blackboard aggravating.
Which Collins are we talking about here?

And I’m not sure it could have ever been open and shut, considering the lengths republicans have gone to march in step behind Trump.

I mean for real could you see anyone saying, “since it’s NOT Schiff, maybe we should hear from all the witnesses...”
Republicans have done what any party would do in the same circumstances.

Additionally, the issue isn't that people have been uncooperative because they don't like Schiff, but that Schiff is an incompetent hack.

Maybe. Doesn't seem like much of a defense, but...well...tRUmp!

Of course, implicit in all of this is the idea that the case against Trump is pretty strong, but that Schiff was too incompetent and hacktastical to make it stick, which, I think is the same as saying something about the trains running on time. cUz tRumP!

Your first comment “what any party would do” comes across as an attempt to normalize, as if an entire party enabling a potus to defy congress and obstruct an investigation is just politics as usual.

Then you suggest the real issue at hand is not the case against potus, strong though it may be, but is simply the incompentence of the dems.

Or in other words, defending republicans and attacking dems.

Job one would be bringing actual substantiated charges of criminal conduct against the President. That would lend a bit of legitimacy to the proceedings.

Again, what is it that you think Schiff could have done different that would have resulted in all of these spineless Republicans growing a spine?

This is not a criminal court case and since we actually had to go through the process of determining that no one would ever charge a sitting president with a criminal charge, then why would that even matter?
