I watched that briefly.

Down 20 with 7 minutes left, ISU blocks a shot, the place goes apeshit like they, uh, aren’t down down 20 with 7 minutes left.

Hilton Magic works a lot better when you have better players.

Ohio State getting waxed at Minnesota in another one of those early season Big 10 games. Saw a stat that said that Bigb10 home teams were 12-0 so far this year. 12 minutes left and OSU only has 37 points. If they lose then KU unquestionably goes to #1 tomorrow.

Or they overthink it and give it to Gonzaga.

Either way, if we win at Nova next Saturday, I cant see many voters failing to put KU at #1 after that.

5 of the next 7 games will be on the road...with Villanova being the first true road game of the year.

And even then, the game is at the 76ers arena. Obviously a Villanova crowd, but an NBA arena.

This is as stupid as it is useless:

Stupid because, among other things, show me a snapshot of those teams on December 17, 2018.

Useless because, dude, what is the point of shitting on the product that you ultimately need to sell?

And he follows it up with this:

Which is almost as stupid, because, what the fuck do we know right now? Exactly a year ago, Jarrett Culver was barely considered a first rounder. And, it still operates on the premise that teams with lotto picks will be exactly this good in March 2020.

Also, guys like D'Tae, Van Vleet and Brogdon are really flipping the narrative on how good 4-year guards end up being in the league.

As with the first tweet, there are multiple incredibly stupid parts to this one. Not the least of which being that the quality of the Europe/other-international pool VERY FUCKING MUCH matters to this "analysis."

As for KU, one year ago we were 9-0 with wins over Sparty and Tennessee and Villanova.

Even with Vick, Udoka, I like this year's squad better than last year's.

Vick and Dedric were stat stuffers ( though they were both really good at that ).
Neither Lawson brothers hustled.
Grimes more often than not was a slog on offense.

This team would beat last years team 9 times outta 10.
Vick would score 38 points going 8/10 from 3 and steal the 10th.
( here comes the Vick hate! )

It's not so much hate, it's just confusion for why you put a guy who, at his best, was a borderline all-conference player, on such a pedestal. 14/4/2? Meh. And that's before getting into, you know, the troubles.

yea.

If this year's team played last year's team 10 times, Vick would have been on a leave for the last four games.

I hesitate to criticize Dedric much, just cuz of how gadawful we would have been last year without him.

It's more he's not as awful as we ( not everyone on the bored included ) make/made him out to be.
A good player under Self if you look at all the players under Self who could completely take over a game.
