Cenk Uygur
How is Cenk Uygur equivalent in any whataboutism to Stephen Miller? Miller is allowed to exercise his virulent racism at will in the White House. Average Democrats protested so loudly at Cenk's misogyny that a key endorsement was withdrawn in a day.
He is a Democrat running for the Democratic nomination for Congress and he was endorsed by one of the frontrunners for the Democratic presidential nomination.

He's one of you.

Also, Sanders statement upon withdrawing the endorsement was hilariously unapologetic. "Uhhh...Cenk...decided not to accept endorsements, but I...uhh...still love him and stuff."
Cenk is very lately "one of us." He was a Republican until quite recently and I'd guess that he gets substantial funds from Putin for targeting actual Democrats.

Bernie Sanders--did he withdraw the endorsement? In how long a time?

Have Republicans protested Stephen Miller and all his truly evil manipulations? Has the President withdrawn support from him? How long has it been?

lulz. Cenk left the GOP in 2000.

Bernie Sanders--did he withdraw the endorsement?

Kinda?:

As I said yesterday, Cenk has been a longtime fighter against the corrupt forces in our politics and he's inspired people all across the country. However, our movement is bigger than any one person," he added. "I hear my grassroots supporters who were frustrated and understand their concerns. Cenk today said he is rejecting all endorsements for his campaign, and I retract my endorsement.

That gets a pretty solid "lulz." Has Bernie rejected Cenk's endorsement of him?

I'd guess that he gets substantial funds from Putin for targeting actual Democrats

It's ok. Its 2coach. It's what he does. Illy is gone so I guess I'm his next choice.

Now, just to appease him I will partially answer his apparent issues because it's too easy to let him label me as a "fuck dems" person.

Twocoach: I said you could deduce what a middle of the road person would be because I figure that probably encompasses a wide variety of people and opinions and I dont feel like I could adequately speak for all of them on thise issues. If I was to guess on the answers to the questions you asked I would say the following

1. I would guess most would be for some sort of universal background check but not necessarily any additional bans. More people control less gun control.

2. Abortion: I would guess a middle of the road person would be fairly pro choice. Not my decision. At a minimum I would think there would be an universal allowance for certain cases of rape, incest, baby or mother health issues etc. I would say most would like to discourage abortion but realize there are times when it may be the only option.

3. Immigration, a very loaded question with no good answer. I'd guess most are open to immigration via the proper channels. No need for a wall but perhaps a need for increased border security, border patrol presence. I'd say most would say that illegal immigration is still a crime and should be treated as such, though perhaps not in the manner it currently is being handled. I'd say harbor cities are a tough sell and might take some convincing and massaging by the right candidate. I'd also guess most mlderated would agree that an illegal immigrant should not be issued a drivers license and ID as they are currently allowed to in some states.

There, I did the thinking for you.

And fairly close to mine and I would guess lots and lots of others. That's obviously a limited portion of the overall platform of the candidates but I have yet to see someone, repub or democrat match those stances very closely.

Seems like just looking for a rationale for bashing Democrats. Fact is, from what I've seen on the ground, most Dems haven't made up their minds at all. At least Dem women, who are the ones that usually spend their time on all that mundane GOTV stuff.
Young online folks.

Aaaaaand the the most popular Democrat in the country.

God I hope not. She is just about the worst person democrats could choose as the "favorite" or idolize or popularize in any manner. She will chase away all moderate votes and is an uniformed dumbass. She has many qualities people hate about trump but on the other end of the spectrum.

Thanks for sharing your positions. I pretty much can't disagree with any of them either.

And while no one, repub or democrat, necessarily matches those stances very closely, it still kinda seems those stances are much more likely to be democrat than repub, if for no other reason than the modern repub stances on those issues are just so extreme.

I think my issue is the democratic positions seem extreme on the other end of the spectrum.

Obviously this is exaggerated for effect.

1. Guns! Take them away, ban them.
2. Abortion. Free for everyone, no questions asked.
3. Immigrants! Hell yea, bring them in, give them jobs and health care, let them vote, give them houses! More more more immigrants!

I tend to lean more democrat on some of these things, and probably more republican on other things. For instance, Universal income. Fuck that, that means I'm paying for other people to sit around. Etc. Hence moderate.

The other issue I have is one DC has brought up. If you disagree with someone and seem to lean conservative you are shunned and the "they hate us" feeling comes around and makes you think. Well I dont like the republican candidate, but I sure as hell don't like the democratic candidate and attitude. Democrats are as responsible for the current division in this country as anyone else.

Edit* I dont mean shunned etc. on this forum necessarily, who cares about that, I mean in actual interactions

And because I'm on break anyway I will add that on most things I'm more of the stance, leave me alone and I'll leave you alone. Sort of a standard libertarian answer. It's a shame that there isnt an option for a 3rd party to make an actual push for the presidency.

well sure, those positions seem extreme if you obviously exaggerate them for effect.

contrast that with Republican issues:

this are actual republican initiatives that are in no way exaggerated:

1. no new gun laws. That is, unless they relax regulations and make access easier
2. shut down the only abortion clinic in the state, charge doctors with murder, mandatory ultrasounds, who cares if we vote in a crooked piece of shit for potus as long as he stacks the courts (hey! the thread's on topic again!)
3. Build the wall, separate families, and let toddlers in cages die of the flu.

AOC is definitely who comes to mind when I think of Democrats these days. Dumb, loud, and entitled.
